NEO1XXX

Sensor for Automotive

The smart, simple version of our high-tech H2 concentration sensors are the sensors in the “neoOne” series (neo1XXX). They are significantly more cost-effective and smaller. Created from AEC-Q100 components, the sensor arrived from the factory pre-calibrated for immediate use.

Most important features:

  • Possible measuring ranges:
    • 0-5 vol.-% H2 NEO1005
    • 0-10 vol.-% H2 NEO1010
    • 0-100 vol.-% H2 NEO1100
  • Pressure range: 0.6 – 1.5 bara
  • Humidity: 0 – 100% r.h. (non-condensing)
  • Temperature measuring range: -40°C – 85°C (short-term up to 105°C).
  • Carrier gases: air, nitrogen, oxygen depleted air available
  • Measuring signal independent of pressure, temperature and humidity
  • Signal output via CAN 2.0 A/B with 125/250/500 kbps

The gas concentration is not changed by the measurement and oxygen is not required for operation.

NEO952

Sensor for H2 exhaust gas Measurement

Hydrogen sensor system for automotive applications for monitoring exhaust gases up to 5% H2 by volume at exhaust gas temperatures of up to 400°C.

Our hydrogen measurement system can quickly and accurately measure hydrogen in the exhaust gas of hydrogen internal combustion engines (ICE) / H2-fuelled petrol engines or solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC).
The measured values are output temperature-compensated via the CAN bus 2.0A/B with 125/250/500/1000 kbps.

Most important features:

  • Measurements to just above the lower explosion limit, i.e. 0 – 5 vol.-% H2
  • Tolerance:± 0.5 % by volume H2
  • Temperature measuring range: -40 to 400 °C
  • Pressure range: 0.6 to 1.5 bar absolute
  • Humidity: 0 to 100 % r.h. (non-condensing)

NEO9XXHT

The NEO974, NEO983 and NEO986 sensor systems are also available ATEX Zone I certification. These hightemperature sensorsare specified for use up to 120°C and are appropiate to use in both automotive and industrial applications.

NEO9XXX

Sensor for Industrial applications

Sensor system for measuring the hydrogen concentration in air, oxygen, nitrogen or oxygen-depleted air with temperature-, pressure- and humidity-compensated signal evaluation for automotive or industrial applications. Applicable in the range: 0.6 – 5 bara, 0 – 100% r.h. (non-condensing) and 40°C – 120°C. A mathematical prediction algorithm ensures very fast response times.

Important properties:

  • Measuring ranges: 0-5 vol.-% H2 (NEO9005), 0-10 vol.-% H2 (NEO9010) or 0-100 vol.-% H2 (NEO9100)
  • Tolerance:± 0.3 vol.-% H2 or± 2 vol.-% H2
  • Pressure range: 0.6 – 6 bara
  • Humidity: 0 – 100% r.h. (non-condensing)
  • Temperature measuring range: -40°C – 120°C.
  • Carrier gases air, N2, O2, oxygen-depleted air, methane, synthetic natural gas are possible

  • Signal output via CAN 2.0, Modbus RTU via RS485, 0-10V or 4-20mA
  • Oxygen is not required for the measurement. No sample extraction necessary.
  • Can also be used in the intake manifold for H2 direct injection

Suitable for concentration measurement in the ventilation of the crankcase or in the recirculation of the fuel cell (recirculation sensor; for controlling the purge valve)

CAN-Logger

The perfect addition for reading and adjusting

The neoCANLogger is the perfect addition for reading and readjusting our NEO9XXA, NEO9XXHTA and NEO4XXA series sensors. It enables the automatic translation of the CAN 2.0 A/B signal into readable data.

Screw-in adapter for enclosure mounting

Adapter for our gas sensors of the NEO9XX, NEO9XXX, NEO9XXHT and NEO4XX series. This adapter allows the installation of a gas concentration sensor by screwing it into an enclosure. It is available in various connection threads, including G1/4‘, G1/2’, NPT 1/4‘ and NPT 1/2’. Other sizes are available on request.

Adapter for our gas sensors of the NEO9XX, NEO9XXX, NEO9XXHT and NEO4XX series. The bypass adapter enables the installation of a gas concentration sensor in pipes with a large inner diameter and high volume flows, optionally also in humid environments. It is available in different connection sizes, including DN 150, DN 200 and DN 250. Other sizes are available on request.
